Hello, sweet baby unicorn. I hope you had a lovely holiday weekend. Don’t you worry - remember we have New Years right around the corner.
I’ve missed you a lot. Being the hyper-obsessive person I am, taking time away from this newsletter to unwind and relax during the holidays was a pretty big trip for me. I’m glad I did it, though. Thank for for continuing on this journey this for another year. I was planing to skip sending this until next Monday, but I wanted to wish you all a happy holidays.
I’ve been trying to pick up on some new work recently. I had a few big contracts slip through and it’s been a pretty big bummer. Luckily, I’m working with some editors and I have some big things to come on that front.
At the very least, over the last week, I did get some time to really focus on writing - sex writing, of course. I know I do this for a living, but I’ve been super invested in my journalism again. I can feel that surge of energy that comes when you’re creating things you’re actually excited about. I wrote about why people love having sex while wearing scary masks, why weighted blankets have been making people horny, and all about what it means to be a brat in BDSM. I’m a brat too, so that last one really gave me a thrill. There’s nothing as fun as being “naughty” and then getting punished.
In my personal life, I had a lot of amazing sex this season. One of the bonuses of not having family around during the holidays is the ability to throw down and bang whenever you want. Have to see the bright side, right?
It’s hard to get super jazzed up when literally nothing has changed - despite a Covid vaccine making initial rounds. Here in London everything is back to lockdown (it’s rebranded as Tier 4, but this is fooling literally no one).
Christmas was spent scarfing down mince pies in my plush, monogrammed robe (go big or go home, I say), drinking endless mulled wine, and listening to the charming crackle of the YouTube fireplace I keep going on the television all winter long. It was pretty great. I cannot lie. My husband and I love to dance together. We held mugs of hot wine, danced, and made out a lot. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with how much I adore him. Sorry for being cheesy, but he is simply the best.
We also watched Bridget Jones’s Diary. It’s a Christmas movie. I don’t care what any of you think about it! What is one tradition you and your family do that makes people go, “Uh, What?” I’d love to hear about it.
One thing I’m definitely looking forward to is getting back to my healthy eating kick. The week of Christmas is a free-for-all with me. I eat mince pie for breakfast. I sneak into the fridge for spoonfuls of sticky toffee pudding between the sentences I’m writing on what “punishment” is in a BDSM context. It is complete madness. But we all deserve that kind of devil-may-care delight in the time of Covid-19. If we weren’t able to go home and see our families, you bet your sweet little ass I eat everything I see and drink a whole bottle of Bailey’s by myself. Fight me.
But I can’t lie, the body dysmorphia has not been great for me. My clothes aren’t fitting properly after binging for a week. I haven’t been working out as much. I’ll be getting back to that tomorrow. HIIT workouts are really good for me both on a self-esteem level and a, like, looking hot level.
When I say “healthy eating,” I’m not trying to say that I praise diet culture, a multibillion dollar industry designed to make you feel like shit. I just mean I’m looking forward to eating a normal diet that doesn’t make me feel sick and have no energy. It’s fun on holiday, but certainly takes a toll. I hope you’re being good to yourself too, babe.
But even my comfy jeans were hard to button today. It makes feeling good about myself super hard - and that fucking sucks because I have accomplished a lot - and so have you - and it’s bullshit that we’re forced to think that if we’re not thin enough, not pretty enough, not sexy enough - then we’re nothing.
Unicorn, I want you to know I am there with you. And you are hot. I wish you could see that you’re as gorgeous as I see you. I love you.
Anyway, it’s time to get back on my healthy eating grind so I can feel healthy and strong.
This week’s mantras:
I will move my body in ways that feel good for me. I will treasure this vessel that allows me to do so many things.
I will masturbate at least twice this week - or have partnered sex - or both!
I will write down one thing I’m grateful for every single day.
I will love myself.
I love you. Have a great week! I’ll see you in 2021. There will be so much magic to come.
XOXO Auntie G

The Best Lubes for Every Kind of Sex Toy
Lube goes with sex the way cream goes with an Oreo: You just can’t have one without the other. As a certified sex educator, I can’t say enough good things about lube. Lube makes sex better. It really is that simple. It doesn’t matter how turned on you are (or aren’t), lube will still enhance your experience. Whether you’re with a partner or flying solo, always use lube.
What Does it Mean to Be Sexually Fluid?
“Attraction is far more complex than many people can communicate,” says Will Zogg, a Washington therapist who specializes in gender affirming counseling. “And fluidity and the presentation of sexuality vary widely across cultures, age, access, and region. As a result of the stigma around fleeting same-sex attraction and consequences for that ‘betrayal,’ normal feelings of love and sex and curiosity often get swept under the rug, where the limits of Western societal norms keep them hidden.

How to Avoid STI Transmission When Sharing Sex Toys
Don’t get me wrong, if you go onto (almost) any major magazine’s website you will find articles on sex toys, how to use them, and what to buy. However, as a certified sex educator, I’ve noticed a key component that is missing from these positive editorials: how to use sex toys while avoiding sexually transmitted infection (STI) transmission.
Causes Of High Libido & What To Do
While low libido is a cause for concern for many people, others may wonder why their libido is always so high. Overall, libido is an incredibly individual feeling, and there's no such thing as being "too horny." If your desire is interfering with your ability to focus in daily life, there are a few potential causes and how to get that sexual energy out. Sometimes we’re super horny - and we just want answers!

The way pain and pleasure can collide during sex is intriguing. When practiced with care and good timing, they can complement each other nicely. There’s nothing quite as erotic as being in the middle of a super hot sex session and having your booty slapped. The sharp sting of a spanking can heighten the charge between partners, feeding into the animalistic quality of the sex session.
A relatable vibe for anyone, really.
Instagram’s violence against healthy sexuality continues.
Instagram has continued the work of valued sex educators, therapists, and other s£x positive individuals on the internet far and wide. Let’s get one thing straight: this is VIOLENCE.
I work with people (as do my colleagues) who struggle intensely with sexual shame, misinformation, and unhealthy relationships. Removing sex content that educates people is not protecting the community the way IG says, it is harming them.
They shadow ban us, remove our accounts, make it impossible to find us unless your search for us. We are turning into a police state that wants to control your body, your ability to have a sexually healthy life.
These are dark times, teeming with censorship and violence against healthy sexuality.
What can you do? Follow us, complain to Instagram, support us in any way you can. Follow us on Twitter! We need to fight for what is right.
Some deep thoughts.
In other news …
My website is getting massive re-design! My best friend, Diana Reynolds, was sick of my technological ineptitude and so I hired her sexy-ass to build me a new site from scratch. Apparently my old site was built on such an archaic version of SquareSpace that she couldn’t even use half of the features. I do not know what I was doing, but man it feels good to get an upgrade, pals. Dee is the best. I’ll send a link in next week’s newsletter for you to check it out.
