Physical sensations can be taken brain and processed into positive sexual messages.
Research shows that common erogenous zones like the nipples, feet, and neck are sexually responsive due to the sensory cortex in the brain.
When you’re touching the inner ear - and you get that intense feeling of pleasure, it’s because a signal is sent to the brain that this is pleasure.
Sometimes the brain registers that this feeling is sexual touch and so it feels like sexual touch. It then sends a corresponding signal to the genitals. Thus, sexual arousal can occur (or increase).

There are erogenous nerves in your nose tissue and the ears are linked to the nose and throat...so I imagine is stimulates all of those hyper sensitives nerves in some ways :)
